Joe Manchu has a B.Compt degree from UNISA and a MBA from Wits. He attended the Executive Development Programme at NorthwesternUniversity in Illinois, USA as well as a SMME development programme at CranfieldUniversity in the UK. He has travelled extensively in Europe, Canada and the United States.
Joe Manchu has twenty five years’ experience in accounting and audit, finance, corporate and retail banking, information technology, and management consulting. He occupied senior positions at Ernst & Young, IBM, Chase Manhattan Bank and the African Bank. In 1986, he started his own Business and IT consulting company, Manchu Consulting which he is still heading. In 2002, Manchu e-Solutions was established as a 100% black-owned company, replacing Manchu Consulting.
Joe's consulting experience covers corporate strategy, business process improvement, change management, IT management, and project management. His most recent clients include Eskom, the CSIR, Telkom, Metrorail, Transnet, Arivia.kom, and several government departments at national, provincial and local levels.Joe leads major change projects in large organisations, working with the senior management team on organisational transformation and strategic repositioning. He has a proven track record amongst several major South African organisations.
